Bulls FO Search: Austin Brown vs Matt Lloyd | Donovan Decision & Pick #15 Targets
The Chicago Bulls’ front office search is heating up, and two names are starting to separate from the pack. Haize and Pat break down the cases for Austin Brown and Matt Lloyd as potential leaders of the next era in Chicago. 🐂💼
Austin Brown, one of CAA’s most connected agents, brings elite relationships and star-level access across the NBA. But with no front office experience, would hiring him be a bold vision — or a risky gamble? 👀
On the other side, Matt Lloyd offers a more traditional path. With deep ties to the Bulls organization and a key role in Minnesota’s recent success, Lloyd represents stability, familiarity, and proven experience within a winning structure. 📊🏀
The guys dive into what each candidate could bring, how ownership may view the decision, and what it says about the direction of the franchise moving forward.
Meanwhile, the Billy Donovan decision is still pending, with the timeline stretching out as the Bulls continue evaluating their leadership structure. What does the delay signal, and how does it connect to the front office hire? ⏳
Finally, with the 15th overall pick, Haize and Pat discuss the types of prospects the Bulls should be targeting and how this selection fits into the broader rebuild strategy. 📈🔥
Front office future. Coaching uncertainty. Draft strategy taking shape.

I wish we could have both Ayo and Coby back but idk if that’s possible.
I'd take a newer younger GM over Bob Myers.
We need defensive minded players mainly two bigs that can cause multiple positions a pf and a center
I'm trading everybody on the team who has value so that way we can get more draft picks later on in the draft
Isn’t Billy still under contract?
Haize on Meyers is so spot on. I get Pat. I just don’t know how much he really did.
Why aren’t we talking about moving up in the draft possibly at pick 1?
How about Kyle Korver or the guy from Memphis?
M. Lloyd is the right choice bc he started in Chicago…will he walk away from Minnesota
Why does the 15th draft target have to be currently mocked in the 10th to 15th range? Why can't he be currently mocked to go in the late 20s or 30s?
What I want from new Bulls management are guys with an eye to spot talent. Not someone who reads the latest mock list and pick from players mocked within that range.
Every year it's the same duds mocked to go lottery. Your Wiseman's, Aytons, Scoot Henderson, Jett Howard, Jeremy Sochan etc. and every year there's players who fall to late 1st rd, or 2nd rd who become impactful pros. We want management who can spot the impactful pros.
Shoutout to Pat!!! He entered the podcast like a boss 😅.
The multiple timeline Myers tried with the Warriors took a lot of shine off of him. Somewhat smart in theory but didn't work at all
Floyd drafted Rob Dillingham on purpose
We will know in a less than a week. I'm sure the hired firm has the head coach position as a target to research and vet in case Billy leaves.
please no Nick Richards lol!
If he is still available Aday Mara HAS to be drafted at 15/16…surely?!?
I’m with pat great take on Billy 15:40
Need to observe the league, guys who aren't necessarily GM's that made an impact. After Mike Schmidtz came to the trailblazers they've been on an upper ward incline. Mike Schmidtz would be my pick. Someone young that understands and thoroughly scouts players
Paolo mite end up Demar 2.0 at the end of it all
Billy Donovan is a college HOF coach. He's average at best in NBA. you're glazing buddy too much! The Bulls as an organization is ass and they keep on repeating the same bullshit mistakes and not learning from them🤷🏾♂️
Sports agents also do scouting — especially early in their careers.
