Our GM, Onsi Saleh, deserves a ton of credit too. The man has made bold moves and knows how to shift strategy while still maintaining a long-eye for the future when those moves don’t work out (like bringing in Porzingas last off season).
The League is starting to understand that juss offense players….hurt the whole franchise and is limited to excellence…. Basketball has always been a full team game …look at the pass teams , sure Jordan WAS BALL DOMINANT but he was an team player 1st who could play both ends n he made his teammates play both ends also…not juss MJ n Pippen.. everyone even bench was involved in team defense, which by the way was Pippens specialty …so when MJ was off the floor d didn't drop dramatically.

I legit thought when they gave trae away, they were giving up and doing a years long reset. And they may still be, but love seeing the success early on.

Knicks are the favorite for a reason. They had a great season. But they are going to have earn it in this first round! It will not be easy, and I will not be surprised for the Hawks move on.

I've known for a while Trae was not the answer. It was fun when he was playing the villain in the playoffs but he was never the same after injuries. He's never had any defense.
