Even with Ja likely on his way elsewhere, the Grizzlies would seem to be in decent shape at playmakers. Either Scottie Pippen, Jr. or Ty Jerome could conceivably start. Javon Small has proven to be another second round steal, and Walter Clayton showed flashes of both facilitating the offense and ability to score. Bottom line: Memphis could prioritize rebounding and interior defense, which were dire weaknesses when Zach Edey wasn’t on the floor, instead of possibly settling for a point guard with whom they weren’t completely enamored.
Acuff has the most charisma of the bunch, not worried about his apparent lack of defense, he is a dog. however, don’t think any of those are bad picks.
The second pick,in the first round will be interesting as well. Would love to get Aday Mara, don’t think,he will be there, maybe Cenac from Houston, or Morez Johnson Jr, kind of souring on Koa Peat, I’ve seen other guards and forwards mentioned however think we need more size and rebounding with that second pick.
Acuff jr. or LaBaron Philon jr.
Both are good mid range and 3 points shooting. And they are consistent. Something Ja Morant struggled with.
