It would be nice to increase the chances of getting at least a #4 spot. Reason to check in on the Suns. I was 20 years old and had just finished Army basic training and advanced training at Ft. Benjamin Harrrison in Indiana then got to watch the Championship series in 1978. Over the years I would peek in on the Wizards when they had some interesting things going on. John Wall and Bradley Beal was a great time. Then it sort of was ashes and it was kind of sad. In the last few years I heard a murmer then saw the young guys getting assembled and Will Dawkins looked like he was doing it right. Wizards said goodbye to Bradley Beal then Kyle Kuzma and the tank rolled. I would say that I spent more time watching them build this team now than I had over the 45+ years of being a fan.
ππβ€When Dani left, there was a lot of anger. Because Dani gives his soul to the game. He's not a player who came to make money, and rob you in training. Today, people understand that it was the right decision to release him. What we have to say is that the big problem, beyond the misfortune that Dani arrived during the coronavirus, and also that he got injured and ended the season too early, was his training. We won't talk about names. He received excellent personal training, the players helped him. Bradley Beal, Kuzma is a great person and Anthony Gayle too. But a head coach does nonsense, doesn't understand basketball!! The one who changed everything is Chauncey, the Portland coach. Dani had a very difficult time in Portland at first. But Chauncey understood with his experience as an elite player, who played and also won championships, and that suits the team. Last year, Portland was the fastest team in the league and a very strong defense. This year, Miami Toronto is playing exactly like that but they have better shorters than Portland. One talented coach can change everything – a coach who is the boss and says what everyone will do. And that's the key word, not administrative officials
How can you say that the Wizards lost the trade and at the same time say that Deni is a 3rd option on a championship team? You trade that 1000x on a rebuilding team in order to get more ping pong balls. Would Deni have fetched more if we let him stay half the season? Who knows. But it's confusing for you to say FO underestimated Deni/lost the trade, but then give valid reasons to why they did the trade and why it makes sense. You are absolutely right in that Deni wouldve 100% requested a trade. No way would he have lasted 3 more years of tanking. Good video as always though.
This is the best trade you guys could have made at the time. Its a win for Portland but it wasn't a "terrible" call for Washington at the time. It was a "great" call for Portland at time tho… just his contract alone :). WOOHOO! GO BLAZERS!
Suns somehow get #1 and Wiz get the 4th. The amount of leverage there for the Wiz would be insane. We'll give you AD for Booker and you can keep that lil pick. Wiz walk away with Booker and Wilson π€£π€£π€£ That would be crazy. lol

Seeing Deni go off in that Portland game last night made me realize that the Deni trade will go down as possibly the worst Wizards trade ever

Yes we want a physical game changer, Wilson or boozer. AJ is the dream pick with his superstar potential
