These guys don’t know anything about the Hawks. To think JJ is are main scorer is wild. If they’ve been paying attention to the Hawks they’d know these guys win by committee. Some nights is Nickeil(who they failed to mention), some games it may be CJ. These guys battled their asses off the last few games. They definitely deserved to sit their starters that last game. After the Hawks beat the Cavs and locked up a playoff birth. The reporters asked Quinn after the game about the Heat game and he said. I think what's most important is going into the playoffs healthy.
This is After he already said he was mad about Orlando's dirty foul that took out his Center Young Joc Landel. The Hawks need and rely on Joc's size and physicality. He's a big reason for the turnaround after the All-Star break. Most people don't know that. They are a much smaller team without him. The loss of Joc contributed to 2 or 3 losses during our win streak.
Quinn simply felt the team couldn't afford any more injuries going into the playoffs. It's as simple as that. It had nothing to do with the Knicks or Cavs at all.

For those who lack understanding on why the Hawks did what we did was because Evan Mobley and Jared Allen is too much to handle in the paint. Compare the Karl-Anthony towns who shoot threes. We have great perimeter Defense but we lack on interior defense, and the Cavs showed us that early when we played them back to back.
