I was really sad that the hornets didn’t make the playoffs and now I’m really happy the warriors didn’t either
Over the past 10 years Warriors and Nuggets have been my favorite teams to watch as a fan. I saw an interview with Larry Bird where he said the same thing. So I take no pleasure in saying this but I think the Warriors are done. I know they had a ton of injuries but a lot of teams were riddled with injuries this year. By 'done' I don't mean they'll be terrible going forward, but they're no longer relevant factors. Also rans. They'd literally have to get Giannis or somebody of his caliber to return to relevance and I'm not even sure that would do the trick given what they'd have to give up to get him or someone like him. Always sad to see a really special and entertaining run come to an end if that is indeed what's happened.

Kon came up so so short for the Hornets on these two play in games. The defensive attention really seemed to bother him and he just shrunk under the bright lights. Very disappointing to see
Suns are low key dangerous if Booker and Green get rolling. They're probably only a good center and point guard away from being legit contenders.

I'm still always surprised that with all those 3s and longevity Curry is not higher on the all time scoring list. I also find that unlike Lebron, Curry has scored fewer than 10 pts in 61 games. Yep the player who people call the greatest shooter on earth, has scored fewer than 10 pts in 61 games. Try these stats for Curry: 3 for 14, 2 for 16, 5 for 24, 7 for 23. It boggles my mind how Curry could do that, but he has. I'm a Curry fan, didn't used to be, but I've never seen anyone shoot like him especially his ability to make difficult shots. It's like he has radar from his hands to the basket. It's just proof that even the greatest have off nights. Pistons fan and I agree with you on the Orlando matchup. Charlotte would’ve been a quick and easy series simply because they can’t matchup physically. Orlando has the personnel to make games tough and ugly. This will be a rare really good Round 1 test for a 1 seed.
I wonder if Paolo Banchero will end up like Aaron Gordon. He doesn't really feel like a 1st option on a team, but you can see how physically gifted the guy is and how dominant he can be. I feel like he would be a great 2nd or 3rd option on a true contender. It's pretty crazy how similar him and AG are when you look at it. AG was definitely not polished when he was with the Magic. AG has become a much much better shooter, passer and all around player since joining the Nuggets. Maybe the Magic just suck at developing talent.

At halftime, W's had 12 turnovers and Suns had 26 pts off those turnovers. Yet the Suns were up 5 at half. That shows me Suns were not good and the W's were worse. I think the W's never overcame that Podz "travel" call. I'm not sure if you can challenge that, but that TO then a 3 from the Suns killed the momentum. Oh well. Lottery time.
