CAVS POSTCAST: Cleveland Cavaliers DISMANTLE Toronto Raptors in Game 1
The Cleveland Cavaliers opened the Eastern Conference playoffs with authority, taking down the Toronto Raptors 126–113 in a fast‑paced, high‑energy Game 1. Donovan Mitchell set the tone early and never let up, finishing with 32 points and reminding everyone why he’s built for the postseason spotlight. Max Strus delivered one of the biggest boosts of the night, knocking down shots from everywhere on his way to 22 points, giving Cleveland the secondary scoring punch that pushed the game out of reach.
On this episode, Tim Daniel and Chasity Melvin break down how the Cavs controlled the tempo, won key matchups, and executed on both ends of the floor. They dig into the defensive adjustments that slowed Toronto’s late push, the offensive rhythm that kept Cleveland comfortably ahead, and the individual performances that defined the series opener. It’s a complete Game 1 recap — what worked, what surprised, and what it means heading into Game 2.

Mobley can just be a Guy and not the Guy and the Cavs can still win against Toronto!
Cavs let a bad 3pt shooting team, shoot 48% from 3. Raptors were missing their lead 3pt shooter and pg. They didn’t flip a switch. We will have to see how the Cavs defend the 3 with Imaniels return
However if Harden can maintain even half of his scorching net rating in clutch mins during the 55min of regular season play, in the playoffs Cavs always have a chance to win in a close game
Wade gets a lot of hate for not producing on the stat sheet but he was team leading +20. He is a little inconsistent tho. Some games he is nonexistent and then he has games like today where he does the little things to lead the team in net rating
I like the hat Tim. It's nice.Chasity is pretty. Glad she also does the postcast. LET'S GO CAVS!
