Coaching matters!!!! Coaching matters!!! Hoping and wishful thinking won't help them win this series. If the Rockets don't go in a different direction in the off-season from Udoka then it's an indictment on the Rockets organization as a whole. Future looks bleak.

Sengun and Amen are at best a 3rd piece in a rotation… neither is a 1 or 2… Rockets will be a play in team in 2027, with 38 year old KD. And after that… a lottery team.

Rockets made exact same mistake as Phoenix. To win now, traded good young players (Green and Brooks) for Durant.
With Phoenix, it was Bridges and draft picks for Durant. No patience. So now Houston is out 2 good young guys and is stuck with aging Durant. Dumb. Phoenix should thank Rockets for bailing them out. Nobody is going to bail out Rockets.

Folks, it’s a dark time to be a Rockets fan. The franchise missed its golden opportunity in 2018 for that 3rd title when CP3 went down with an injury. Now we are in a division and conference with a stacked OKC Thunder team, a young Wemby who is otherworldly, and a ridiculously young Cooper Flagg that the Mavs will build around. Throw in the T-Wolves, Blazers, and Lakers, then the teams in the East like Detroit, Boston, Orlando. The Rockets franchise could be looking at years or decades before another title or even a realistic chance at one where people took them seriously like in 2018. The Rockets do not have a young generational star, despite being in the lottery for like 4 years and having top 4 picks, and that’s a huge problem.
I used to see sengun fans in DROVEs throughout the season. And now since last night ive only seen 1. All a bunch of casuals
