The Toronto Raptors did NOT execute in Cleveland for game one. The game, largely made closer by shooting variance and garbage time production was pretty much a blowout. The Raptors need to fix a lot of things ahead of Monday night. They seem to be aware of some of them.

Rob. Very, very disappointing quote from BI. Maybe from frustration but still inexcusable. In my opinion, BI has exposed his thinking, not a good look and he should issue a public apology or keep it behind closed doors. That's not a "team play" comment. Personally, i don't think Ingram's game is well suited to how the Raptors would really like to play.The other thing i think people should take in to consideration is this team won 16 more (could easily have been 49-50 wins) games this season. You would think the way the media , "fans" and some podcasters are going off (the usual culprits) on the Raptors that Donald Trump just marched in to Canada and took over Ottawa. Your thoughts.
I actually think coach needs to put Jak in for the first quarter and if he plays like a pylon again, bench him. He can’t cost us important games. He should put CMB, mamu, TJD who has proven can grab rebounds. Rebounds is very important to win & get fouled. Having bigs against their length is crucial and gives a diff look to the defence- coach is so stubborn. We need length to block shots, offensive put backs, deflect, transition points, and then have more shooters out there like Jakobe, mamu, AJ and Battle. Battle should be out there he’s a great 3 point shooter- he won us a game against the cavs with 6 3’s in a row. These are some more changes that need to be made.

Controversial take: Suggs would have been a better pick for the Raptors
Cool video man! This season is a wash. They should feature quickly and Portel and try to pump up their numbers so they can fleece someone in the offseason. Grady Dick is terrible for business…he gotta go. I would also trade R.J. If this team isn't going to put shooters around B.I. and Scottie Barns this is a lost cause! Mamu played great this year IMO. They need to adjust the roster so these 3 are getting more run together. B.I. plays a selfish brand of basketball WHEN he knows his teammates are going to miss. If he has confidence in you, like he does with Mamu at the 3pt line all of the sudden he is thowing darts like magic johnson. The key to unlocking the offense is letting B.I. create and attack when flanked by shooters. If not he thinks the best chance to score is his midrange look that no1 can really contest. It is better than a shotclock violation or a turnover when no one else is creating offense. Need more shooters point blank period.
One recurring thing I've been seeing throughout the season is the space being given up by the Raptors playing so high up. We've had 82 games of poor defensive readers, immobile bigs, and non-existent POA options in the starting lineup that I'm surprised Darko didn't make a bigger fuss about the personnel given to him. The Poeltl handcuff is going to be extra heavy for this organization.
I see many issues with Ingram’s comments. The biggest is criticizing his coach in the media after game 1. Behind closed doors, sure. In the media after game 1 of round 1. I was already thinking we should start shopping him this off-season, but now I am convinced.
They’ll be 0-2. 2 games closer to ending hearing you talk about the raptors.

He needs to bring the ball up and take it straight to the paint with aggression and make players or score from there.
He needs to dictate our pace …he's just not showing up 🤷🏽♂️
Rob amazing breakdown and notes as usual, just incredible work. I have a question tho, is it possible that you could improve the quality of the games/clips in your breakdowns? Just seems a bit pixelated and I think getting it to at even 720p would massively improve viewer experience. And I also think drawing tools to visualize plays would also make them easier to follow for the avg viewer
