The Sixers lose to the Celtics 123-91 in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs 1st Round. Tyrese Maxey did what he could without much help, dropping 21 points and 8 assists. VJ Edgecombe had 13 points in his first playoff game. Paul George had 17 points. But ultimately the Sixers couldn’t buy a bucket, shooting 4 of 23 from three point range. The Celtics were the much better team in every category and completely outcoached the Sixers. If Nick Nurse doesn’t make any adjustments, this series will get ugly quick.
