Phoenix Suns Suffer One Of WORST Playoff Losses EVER In Game 1 vs OKC Thunder
The Phoenix Suns face a 1-0 series deficit after an ugly Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nothing went well for Phoenix, which was ice cold from the get-go, and struggled to take care of the ball. OKC took complete advantage.
The Thunder were led by 25 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, while Jalen Williams added 22 point. Chet Holmgren added 16 points and seven rebounds. For the Suns, it was Devin Booker who led the way with 23 points while Jalen Green scored 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting. Dillon Brooks found a way to score 18 points, but he did so while shooting 6 of 22 from the field.

Ott inability to play with length & size vs OKC's 2 bigs lineup, is killin' the team. A good coach is like a chef. They prepare/mix the rite combination of ingredients. Ott doesn't put or play the rite personal. He doesn't put them in the best position to succeed.
not that unexpected of a loss. but the margin of the loss was not a good indicater.

Suns franchise can't win a playoff game without Chris Paul, didn't get anything 2010-2020 not playoff wins, 2021-2023 playoff wins, 2024-2026 thus far no playoffs wins, no doubt his IQ got the team far, and I know OKC is too good of a team rn, but being swept by the twolves and missing the playoffs the next season was not excusable.

Oso (26 minutes), Dunn (25 minutes), Maluach (15 minutes) = 0 points; Completely unacceptable… Fleming 9 points in 8 minutes… Start Fleming alongside Williams (if available) in game 2… Green, and Brooks also missed too many shots… Collin was shooting well, but played minimally… Ott is not making the right rotation decisions, and minute choices… Highsmith at center instead of Fleming for small ball???… This is going to be a painful sweep…

That Oso Dunk attempt was good to see although he got blocked – That’s the Rim pressure we need from him that will keep the defense from sagging off of him.
This was the first suns game I’ve ever been able to attend in person lol. Still worth the drive
THUNDER 🆙 suns have heart but book and green have no help the defense just locks on them even though booker had a good game
Grayson gets a pass everu single season from all the fans. He's the problem, he's never there when we need him. As soon as they didn't trade him for a PF at trade deadline the season was over.

Well, hopefully we don't get the brooms out. I'm really just surprised they got to the playoffs, giving the performance of this team it shows how bizarre their abilities can be. 2 dollar hotdogs though….at least we got that.
