    Interesting they have kept there regular season rotation so far. As I've said all year, hard to beat these guys when Vassell and Johnson have "Good" or above games. You know what you'll likely get from Wemby/Castle/Fox/Harper, but when the other wings play well they are pretty unstoppable.

    Deni was the best player tonight but Spurs was the better team. I don't see Blazers winning more than 1 personally but i hope so just so the series is exciting!

    Honestly feel sorry for Deni and The Blazers, what tf can you do to this team with Wemby ? Like how do you stop that alien mf ? 😂 poor guys don't have a chance. It was his first playoff game and he's gonna be doing ts for the next 10-15 years at least 🤯

    Advijia or whatever dude's name is basically said since they can't defeat Victor playing basketball, therefore, they were going to beat him up as if this is the UFC. That kind of talk is dangerous. San Antonio can be a dangerous city and Wemby has a lot of people who have his back.

    French journalist : Victor, do you prepare for a playoff game and a playoff series differently than a regular season game? What I mean is more about your mindset—because right now it feels like you’re a bit more reserved, more locked in, maybe already focused on Tuesday’s game. Is that the case?

    Wemby : Right now I’m just tired from the postgame lift. But yeah, it’s definitely a different kind of preparation. We’ve had quite a few days to get ready, with a specific focus for each day of practice. It kind of reminds me of when we played in France—when we had a full week to prepare for a game. We’ve been able to study Portland pretty thoroughly.

    French journalist : You just talked about the difference in preparation between playoff games and the regular season, but in concrete terms—right after the game—what felt different? Whether tactically, physically, or in the way you approached things?

    Wemby : Everyone knows everyone’s plays. There are very few tactical mistakes on either side—it’s really different. Sometimes it feels a bit suffocating out there, but that’s when you have to put in extra effort. And I think as the series goes on, it’s going to become a battle of the coaches.
