    Mavs had 6th locked up but proceeded to win against cavs blazers and lakers I dont understand what they were thinking if everyone else is tanking because this draft class is stacked and you proceed to throw that away knowing you dont own your own pick next 5 years

    In theory the bigger screwup was letting Memphis pass us in the tank standings because the odds between 7 and 8 are almost the same, though the lottery is rigged anyway so ultimately it doesn't really matter. Ernst & Young already know where they're planning us to pick on Silver's orders

    1) I think some guys might go back to college, collect NIL money, and come out in the weaker 2027 draft.
    2) I also think there might be a lot of trades on draft night (that of course depends on number 1)
    3) I still think it is a 4-7 year rebuild no matter what.
    4) This is a deep draft. I think Dallas can get valuable players with both their picks.

    If the Mavericks weren't serious about tanking, this means they are just bad. That to me would bother me more than the lottery odds. The good news is they freed up some monies with the AD trade and this is a deep draft.

    I’d much rather have Cooper Flagg with either Mikel Brown, Burries, Yaxel, Philon, Ament, Quintance, Peat than “one 2025 player” Harper, VJ, Kon K mixed with one from 2026 (Dybansta, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson).

    Acuff is essentially the same height as Flemings. Ppl keep thinking he’s shorter than he is. Watch him stand next to others and you’ll get a better idea.
