Really surprised to hear Ryan say there was “no data” to indicate NHL hockey would work here. “Just a few rinks and a small youth program” greatly understates the number of hockey fans there are in this state. I’ve had confidence for years the NHL would work here with the right ownership group. We’ve got great fans and great ownership, with necessary renovations going on at the DC. That’s most of what it takes to be successful in the NHL.
