I’ve been telling people for years that Jokic is terrible on defense. I always hear “ he has a lot of steals”. Steals are the most overrated statistic on defense. Jokic can’t block a shot or closeout. He is terrible.
Why is Jason so critical of JK ? He was there best player outside of CJ. I don't think it's a surprise that he helped them win. He was the primary influence of there 1st come back in the first half and helped them significantly in the second. Crazy especially since he hasn't been in the hawks system very long. NAW took way more questionable shots than JK even if NAW has the greenlight.

Jason’s glaze is on all new levels. Characterizing the sequence with Jokić dunking and the pass to Braun as he did was straight up laughable. Jokic folded like Ben Simmons when he had a wide open floater.
The last play of the Nuggets game where Murray went for the jumpshot 2 was confusing. I'm suprised they didn't try going for a 3 at the end.

While I do agree that big men get hit way harder and more often, they also hit others way harder and more often too😂 How many times have you seen jokic just man handle someone and shove them or elbow them out of the way with a no call. He gets fouled nearly every post-up he has but he also fouls the defender on a good amount of those too.

Jason can you explain to me please how Jokic gets away with murder defensively where it’s clear he’s being exploited but the media goes after Luka as a bad defender and arguably is better at this point but nobody seems to care.
