Report: Golden State Warriors Would Target Todd Golden If Steve Kerr Is Done
The Golden State Warriors have some massive decisions to make this offseason. The biggest being their head coaching position. Steve Kerr just completed the final year of his contract, and sources are saying the Hall Of Fame Head Coach is leaning towards walking away. His replacement? Todd Golden is the name being thrown around. Golden led the San Francisco Dons to the NCAA Tournament before leaving for Florida, where he quickly took the Gators to an NCAA title. While exonerated after an internal investigation, allegations of Golden's behavior while in Florida makes me think he may not be a good fit; and while perhaps unfair, I doubt the Golden State Warriors wants the name Golden mixed up in past sexual misconduct allegations, that's just begging for bad press.
