The GSW is a doomed job. Billy should run away from it as if he was being chased by the devil.
Iggy in GSW, get him a solid staff of assistants and let's start a new chapter with Iguodala.
"billy doesn't want to rebuild" "maybe golden state". GSW is in a rebuild like what?
Imagine finally separating yourself from a black hole like Chicago just to go and be the one that holds the proverbial grenade that is the end of Curry’s career and staring a whole new kind of abyss that’ll be left in the aftermath.
THIS STRUCK A CORD! No, A Thousand Times NO!
Life long Bulls fan, living in the Bay area. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy the worst of times and best of times with both teams. Billy Donavon is a huge error. I felt that way when he was hired in Chicago, too! He has proven that he can not take talented teams deep into the playoffs. Recently, with the Bulls, Donovan finished with a winning record once (46–36 in 2021–22) and only made the playoffs, once. They have been in the play-in tournament the last few years but thats not an accomplishment. Billy is not answer for the Warriors. Next contestant, please. Personally, best option would for Kerr to remain for one more year,. Warriors deal for Klay and reunite the Splash Brothers for one last hurrah. End of 2026-27 season, announce their retirement along with Draymond. Kerr watches the trio walk off into the sunset as he sits in the both as an analysis until a head coaching position opens in Arizona, San Antonio or questionably Chicago. (Ironic… Right!?!) I'd vote for Iggy as Head Coach, with Draymond, as an Assistant Coach.
