Kawhi needs to represent the team way better and be a guy that takes the reigns of blame for losses. He's got a lot of maturity in terms of leadership. Lastly he's been hiding from the blame and smoke and been getting outplayed by other teams stars. Steph and Draymond schooled him. I think Kawhi is content with his career and in my opinion from his standpoint isn't hungry to win a title. It's like he feels he owes us nothing. I see other young teams and they're manhandling us in our house. 2019 Clippers was the last time I've seen our identity. We didn't care about feelings of other teams and held our team accountable. Last Kawhi screwed up with us playing in the playoffs he didn't attempt 20 shots. As a leader you go out as the head guy. People bring up double teams like it's new. I've seen all time greats that weren't phase by the double. Seems Kawhi to Detroit get picks and steal Ronald Holland.

I'm not sure that the Portland and GSW games weren't throw jobs. We'd just slapped down Minn a week prior, and neither of these two other teams have the defense to bother LAC much.
Contrast both scenarios: a) Silver (and maybe even Ballmer) wanted Clippers out of the playoffs, so to mitigate the risk(s) of even more embarrassing storylines getting out in one year than just the Billups & friends scandal.
OR b) With Clippers in for 4+ games they risk generating more interest in a broader investigation into similar deals by other teams and players. With the Clippers out, there doesn't have to be a peep about any of it throughout the playoffs.
Could Kobe Sanders play at the 4? He's listed at 6'8" and is killer at catch and shoot 3s (which seems to be the description of a 4 in todays game). Is his D solid enough? Not physically imposing enough?

DG is too much of a liability on defense and will always be a target from the better teams in the playoffs. His offense and play isn’t otherworldly like Steph Curry where his offense makes up for his horrible defense. We can’t build around him.
We lost cause we didn’t have front court depth in those last few games. Also, kawhi needs to take a pay cut

I’m a huge Kawhi fan.
But, ever since Kawhi got to the Clippers, he’s never been the elite closer and playoff player that he was in the Raptors and San Antonio. He crumbled in 2020, last year and this year when we needed him to be that guy in the playoffs.
He’s only getting older and has lost his playoff dominance, not his regular season dominance, but his playoff dominance which always separated him from the really good regular season players. He was a proven champion. Now he has proven time and time again he has lost that ability to dominate the playoffs like he once did with his other teams.
Time to move on
