REACTION: Pat Riley’s State of the Miami Heat Press Conference

1. Just because tanking worked for one team, doesn't mean it will work for another. Ask 76ers how tanking worked for them (never got out of the 2nd round), ask Brooklyn how tanking is going? The Wizards, the Pelicans, etc. Sports is about competition. Tanking is antithetical to competition.

2. He says he wants to add size. If we start playing larger lineups and add some size, i'll throw a parade. The elven ball lineups are just brutal and unwatchable. Watching guys pull teeth to get a stop just for your foe to get effortless putbacks and offensive rebounds.

3. I don't know why they even bother doing press conferences when they clearly don't give a shit about the fanbase or what we want and giving us the same old BS shit answers every time

8. I know you guys don’t think Pat will ever give the slightest clue in a press conference that he’ll ever trade Bam. He has to answer the way he did. Those talks will be had at the right price and behind closed doors.
