  1. Around 53:30, Nick (as Brou also sometimes does on FTF) points out KD’s sad, insecure, can-never-be-happy character perfectly. The silly thing is how they think they have to say multiple times “and I really like KD” before, during and after their critiques.

What’s to like? Would you be friends with a person like that in everyday life? The sneaky dissing of teammates on burner accounts, and the need to defend yourself (but anonymously!) against random fans on said accounts? The impatient dissatisfaction in every professional situation, the constant need to blow it up and start over? But then to exhibit no leadership or positive culture creation in the new environment… And then you take no ownership of that failure, you just give up and leave again?

I feel no need to say I “really like” that guy. He’s very talented, and he won two rings. Good for him.

  2. KD have always said he just wanted to hoop. Listen to him. He’s not a leader. He’s just a one dimensional basketball player. I think Melo is a way better leader and just as good of a player as KD.

  3. D finally gave a cogent sports take. When dudes return from injury we should start chalking it up as a a win for the other team bc they will have to readjust

  4. FUN HYPOTHETICAL:

If you could be born into the body of LeBron, Giannis, or Wemby who would choose and why?

Let's say that the skills you choose to develop and the work you put into your bodybuilding is up to you.

I think a lot of people might say Wemby, but I don't know, I would have think about longevity issues.

  5. I get the injury point with the Wolves, but why does that only go one way? The Nuggets are dealing with injuries too. Aaron Gordon has missed time and Peyton Watson hasn’t been playing—and those are two of their best defensive pieces. That matters. It feels like that part keeps getting left out of the conversation.

  6. He should end his career in Seattle somehow. That’s the fan base and that’s where he has his storybook ending and he becomes a part of the community there.

  7. Not a lot of people are really understanding how crazy LeBron and Bronny playing together is, and specifically in this series. I appreciate that Nick went out of his way to try and explain his how monumental what we’re seeing is

  8. Love your content, Nick, I've been listening to you since you had a shaved head and were yelling at Chris Carter defensively when he attacked you for a great takes…I know NFL pays the bills, but when you are immersed in NBA data, you are throwing fast balls, and I freaking love it. your NBA content is what brought me to first things first and separates you guys from ESPN. When CB joined full-time, I locked in permanently. Don't ever stop the NBA love

  9. You guys gotta understand its a team sport, all those giys you mentioed on the top 12 all had multiple all star players on there teams. Joker has done it with less then all those guys. Granted its only 1 tittle but hey

  10. Can't even take 30 seconds to mention how Scottie Barnes has been the best player in that series. 26, 5, 7 on 63% true shooting and playing phenomenal defense in the playoffs still doesnt get Raps players noticed nationally.

  11. I think league should ban talking heads talking about top10 of all time while the players are still actively playing… wait until everything is set and done, jokic wont have the longevity nor will giannis nor will wemby nor will ant, but shai will for example
