Okay, new Front office. Like I do with every new Front office in football and basketball, I am willing to wait 4-5 years. Here's what I typically would like to see:
Year 1: New staff use players already there to finish first season (I expect a terrible record). Make trades throughout the season for cap space and draft picks.
Year 2: Break Down rest of the team for cap space and more future draft picks. After off-season, I expect a bad record.
Year 3: Develop players drafted in previous year. Draft well this year, and get some good free agents to fit Head Coach system (I expect a .500 record at least)
Year 4: Develop the team to a high level (I expect to be a lower playoff team)
Year 5: Championship contenders
