  1. Masai is a pro speaker. He dipped into his Raptors file folder and just said all the right things to make the Mavs fans feel good about this hire, exactly like he did in Toronto. Over the next 3 years he's going to evaluate J.Kidd's performance after each season. If the coach does not do well in the playoffs, then he will fire the coach, just like he did in Toronto. When the NBA trade deadline comes along, Masai is going to active in it and make some trades, because he is going to evaluate players too. He did that in Toronto. He make a lot of trades in Toronto and there's gonna be trades in Dallas. Get ready Mavs fans! LOL 🎉

  2. As a raptors fan this is so sad. I remember our press conference when he arrived. Such an exciting time. Fuck Ed Rogers for letting him go.

  3. Masai is a gem of a human being and greatly missed in Toronto. Mavs got an amazing leader, I’ll be rooting for Mavs from here on out, except when we are playing you guys lol, Go Mavs!

  4. Mavericks fan. This was an excellent introduction. I’m delighted he’s keen (like the rest of us) to see how Kyrie and Cooper play together. Kai is the emotional and vocal leader on the team and he’s going to be a massive part of next season.

  5. i dont like this new owner probably dont even know Xs and Os
the luka trade is on you to cuban
sell the team to someone who equally loves the game as more as you not to the first buyer that offers you the money😢🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

  6. Let's GO MAVS

P.S Don't Let The Dude With The Glasses Ask Questions Again
All He Talked About Was Luka This And Luka That.

LIKE STFU AND GO COVER THE LAKERS OR SOMETHING!!!

  7. As a raptors fan i am excited to see the growth of dallas Mavericks in the future and hopefully seeing the Mavericks face the Raptors in the finals when both teams get to that stage in the future

  8. As a Raptors fan, congrats, you guys have a gem. We were happy with him, if it wasn’t for the idiot ownership we have, he would still be Raptors president.

  9. Finally, it’s refreshing to have a GM who prioritizes the future and isn’t preoccupied with the past, as Masai mentioned. Cooper is the cornerstone around which we’ll continue to build, and I appreciate how he handled the Luka questions. Cooper is the future, and that’s the focus.

  10. A small list of players I like in the draft as a sports fanatic data science student that has watched some tape.
    Early 1st-
Mikel Brown Jr: passing speed, deep 3, and unafraid to shoot
Labaron Philon: strong handle, inside out game
    Late 1st-
Cameron Carr: vertical/lateral quickness, deep 3
Ebuka Okorie: downhill speed, opens up shooter
    2nd round-
Zuby Ejiofor: high iq, instinct, balanced big
    Possible UDFA-
Jeremy Fears Jr: extremely high passing iq, pick and roll iq
Dillon Mitchell: lateral and vertical quickness, gets shots over 7 footers well.

  11. As a Spurs fan, I’m excited for you Mavericks fans. All the battles we had with Dirk vs Timmy in the mid to late 2000’s and early 2010’s were epic. Maybe this guy will get the I-35 rivalry back to what it used to be!
