Firsts from mid teams are more valuable though. So a giannis trade will be worth more.
I'm so sick of taking to increase draft odds.
I'm not sure it's all better, but this encourages lousy teams to at least try building a culture of trying to win.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I really believe that the only reason the NBA's draft process is so convoluted is because it allows the league to rig the draft whenever they want to. No legitimate reason why all these factors have to be involved to eliminate tanking.
still can't believe the bucks lost 3 out of 4 against one of the worst teams on this league…
one mans trash is another mans treasure. The idea that the draft is the only way to get a super star is flawed. NBA teams need to get back to developing players and invest in player development and coaching. joker was a second round pick for crying out loud.
Adam Silver always rigs everything against Milwaukee. Now that Bucks are a lottery team Silver makes it impossible to tank. When we were good Silver changed the cap rules to make it impossible to keep the good team together.
I like the new lottery. The Bucks would've actually would've had reason competitive at the end of the season. Giannis may have been allowed to play. Fans may actually show up to late season games if the teams aren't rewarded for tanking. Those 3 worst teams losing a ping pong ball in particular is a good twist.

The Bucks need a better front office, the good thing about how basketball has grown globally there are good to great players that get overlooked and slip through the cracks we just need the scouts to find the gems
