  1. For as many problems as the NBA has, you have to hand it to the media. The Thunder may wind up winning another title in 4-5 games, and we talked about a dozen teams having a shot ALL YEAR!

  2. I’m sorry… Remind me again how the 4 seed Lakers were an underdog to a KD-less 5 seed? When KD played in the series, the Lakers hounded him. And he basically sat for the rest of the series. Meanwhile the Lakers still had LeBron. Sounds of the media said he was the goat if he could beat a 4 seed KD-Less rockets team?!? BECAUSE he was 41. So now, he’s still 41, and he’s the convo is that he’s undermanned, and outgunned. Personally, if you get flowers at 41, you can get the mud that the flowers are planted in at 41 as well.

  3. It's funny because Dan you're right, people would definitely say well Jordan never made any excuses. Do you know why he never had to say anything like that…Pippen, Rodman and all his other players never got injured. That is the difference. All of LeBron's teammates have gotten injured in important times. That is just facts.

  4. OKC is Luka's kryptonite…he wouldn't get the Lakers any closer to winning. For all the points he would score, he would give up the same on defense.

  5. This season OKC v LA: Game One, no JDub no Lebron, OKC by 29. Game Two, no Shai, Ajay Mitchell, Luka, Reaves OKC by 9. Game Three starts with both teams at full strength, Luka gets hurt in the 3rd quarter already down 34 points, OKC by 43. Game 4 No JDub, Lebron, Luka, or Reaves, OKC by 36.

Luka isn't coming back from a grade 2 sprain, AND getting back in game shape in time to positively impact this series. It's possible the Lakers get one in LA, but they won't be favored to do so, and the likelihood is this is a sweep, but even if Luka is technically available for game five and it's 3-1 Thunder, do you risk further injury for what is likely a Thunder win with or without Luka?
