They could have picked someone who could have helped them this year and still has upside. Let them be "a project" and get "more Time to develop" in other leagues. otherwise they taking the spot of someone who deserves (good enough) to be in the NBA

It would have been something else had Mr. Yang been picked in the top-10 of his NBA Draft year, in which case pressure would’ve been on him to show the team that had drafted him had not reached on him.
