Jokic Is Not Top 10 All Time

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets just suffered one of the most shocking first-round exits in recent NBA history, and now the all-time rankings conversation is heating up. Can a player be called a top-three center ever, or even a top-10 player all time, after a playoff collapse like this?

We break down:

* Why this loss raises major questions about Jokic’s legacy
* The defensive problems that got exposed against Minnesota
* Terrence Shannon Jr. and Jaden McDaniels dominating Denver
* Rudy Gobert’s impact on the series
* Jamal Murray’s role and Denver’s supporting cast
* Why comparing this to LeBron’s 2011 Finals loss is complicated
* The difference between losing in the Finals and losing in Round 1
* Whether Jokic’s defensive limitations cap his all-time ranking

The Nuggets were expected to compete for another championship, but instead got bounced early by an injured Timberwolves squad missing multiple key scorers. Is this one of the worst playoff losses ever by an MVP-level superstar?

  1. Saying Terrance Shannon exposed Jokic just shows this podcast shit isn’t for you. No center in the league is stopping a player coming down the lane on a blow by except maybe wemby. Plus if Jokic isn’t the best then who is.

Also using Jokics first round to make lebrons 2011 not look as bad is just comedy. Lebron had a super team and lost to Dirk. Literally no excuse. Him having an over the road Jason Kidd means next to nothing considering the team LeBron had.
