3. Overall, it really stings, but the draft is full of small scoring guards after the Top 4. We would be without a starting caliber center, and would have no possibility of getting a player at Zubac's level. We would have had to pay Benn and be in the luxury tax. Now we don't have any real issues as long as Tyrese is healthy. We will be in the Finals next year, and we won't be focusing on missing out on Darius Acuff Jr. or Kingston Flemmings

5. I am sad about the Pacers but we all should be happy that NCAA tourney has been expanded to 76. Hopefully the Hoosiers now can get in.

6. It's brutal to lose this pick. Not because we made a bad trade (we didn't, it's just a single instead of a home run) or because the player taken at 5 would have been an instant upgrade to our team. It's brutal because we lost the best building opportunity the team has had in the NBA. To add the highest draft pick in almost 4 decades to the best Pacers rotation in NBA history. I don't feel like I'm upset about the reality, I'm upset about missing the opportunity. And not even a year away from missing the opportunity to see if the team could actually compete to win an NBA Finals Game 7.

Embarrassing our franchise and “gambling” on this trade just reminds me that we are destined for permanent mediocrity and disrespect from the rest of the league. Pacers should do everything they can to land Dailyn Swain, Chris Cenac Jr., Henri Veesaar, Tyler Tanner, Otega Oweh, Flory Bidunga, Motiejus Krivas, Meleek Thomas, Baba Miller, Isaiah Evans, Milan Momcilovic, Morez Johnson Jr., Amari Allen, JT Toppin, Tyrone Riley IV.. We could go after player's like this and make up for losing the 1st.. You can't let this deep of a draft pass you by and not try to get as many player's as possible… There is a huge chance some of these later picks break out to be some of the best player's.. You could get a few of these guy's Undrafted possibly. Like Baba Miller, Tyrone Riley IV and Moustapha Thiam. So if we could get any random combination of these guy's. (I haven't looked at a mock in forever, these are off the top of my head) I'd be very happy.. but if they sit back and do jack sht.. I'd be extremely disappointed and pissed once again… I knew if they risked #5 and #6 Adam Silver would find a way to fk us over.. You can't give any chance…

Chris Cenac Jr., Henri Veesaar, Baba Miller and (Flory Bidunga, athletic rim running big) would be high on my draft boards.. With Dailyn Swain, Tyler Tanner, Otega Oweh, Meleek Thomas, Motiejus Krivas, Milan Momcilovic, Isaiah Evans, Morez Johnson Jr., JT Toppin and Tyrone Riley IV as well as guy's I want to pair with another C..

13. Ultimately, I’m very disappointed that we didn’t summon the karma I thought we deserved after what we went through in Game 7 with Hali. I wanted AJ, and a player to extend our window even longer.

    However, I’m not upset we have Zubac instead of the 5 pick.

    I’m only upset we didn’t get 1 or 2.

18. The bottom 3 teams didn’t get a top 4 pick in this years draft. How could you guys not see this coming. Adam Silver made it clear that he does not like tanking. Hence, why they said that they’re changing the draft lottery next year. Since we no longer can see the ping pong balls being drawn what made everyone think that Adam Silver wasn’t going to do what’s best for the league. The Pacers are a mid market team meaning our fans will support our team regardless. LeBron is in his final years. The NBA couldn’t risk both of its LA teams being subpar. Too big of a market to have both teams below .500, it would be bad for its ESPN/tv deal ratings

20. Tried not to care. Expected we wouldn't get it. Spent most of the last 9 hours pissed about it anyway. Looking forward to your cap situation breakdown and next round of offseason preview. I'm already back on the trade machine and trying to convince myself Anfernee Simons will take the MLE and be good lol. Who are the best players they could realistically target who are better than Jarace/Shep AND wouldn't require giving up more than 1 of those two to acquire?

24. Kevin Pritchard it's very easy to draft white players; goga b, TJ Leaf, or Chris Duarte. I have nothing against white people i'm a white person myself. But I can't comprehend Kevin Pritchard giving up five players for zubac.
    IF ZUBAK stays healthy and he gives us 2+3 healthy years. And reaches 60% of expectations. We should be fine. This team needs immediate help.IF Kevin wants to fix his mistakes he should trade SHEPHERD for Saddiq Bay that is a win-win situation. Saddiq Bay strong player who matches the age range with the rest of the team. He is a warrior who is ready to fight with the rest of the team and he can immediately help in the short term
