The Giannis Trade Is FINALLY Happening…

The Milwaukee Bucks are officially making a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade possible, with the goal to trade him this NBA offseason before the 2026 NBA Draft.

  1. In my opinion, just let Giannis walk if he wants to. That's the stance most of these teams should take unless he openly commits to one of them. Otherwise, he guts a roster in an age where it's hard to build a good roster and he will be sitting on the books for quite a while. He's a limited player. Look away from the highlights and the fact that he on a bad team and thus looks better and you'll see how limited he is. He isn't fast, so he slows down younger teams like the Thunder. They would still win with him or without him but he would slow them down. He barely has a mid range shot and for damn sure doesn't have a 3 ball and he's missing more games and that will only continue as he ages. I just don't see this crazy value YouTubers seem to think he has.

  2. The Denver Nugget owner just came out and said everything is on the table except Jokic. Moving Murray, Braun and Gordon to contenders for picks and young assets is definitely something to consider.

  3. Send Andrew Nembhard, Obi Toppin, and Jarace Walker + a Pacers FRP and Celtics FRP to Milwaukee

Celtics get Giannis, and Pacers get Jaylen Brown. Whatever around the edges for salary matching and maybe extra picks involved.

  4. NBA fans don't know anything about the Bucks new majority owner Jimmy Haslam…he's also the owner of the Cleveland Browns and is one of the top 3 worst owners in the NFL. He might send Giannis to Sacramento if the trade is right

  5. An added item is Giannis's brothers/cousins aka bench warmers – how do they fit into a trade to a competitive team? How do the Celtics (let's say) give up Brown and picks to then also have to get rid of late rotation/development players for nepotism?

  6. Boston trade JB n picks for Giannis Bucks Trade JB home to Atlanta for picks n Dyson Daniels bad contract ofc more has to be done to make it work just sounds like a win win win and i hear Hawks own some bucks picks

  7. Not sure Giannis would move out West, it's pretty loaded. I'm pretty sure Giannis also made it clearl he'd like to go to New York, could be wrong though

  8. We still owe another 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder…. PACERS GOT FLEECED…. 3 TOP 10 PICKS, A 2ND ROUNDER, AND A CENTER for A CENTER… THATS IS A TRASH TRADE!!!!

  9. The obvious one for me is the spurs if they aren’t competitive with okc in the playoffs. Centered around Fox, vassell and some picks.

Harper, castle, Giannis and Wemby would be insane…

  10. Why would Giannis commit to any of the teams on this list when non of them offer him what he is looking for and the main reason he wants to leave? When you make videos like this you also have to consider Giannis’s POV, if he doesn’t commit to them why would any of these teams give up all the assets they can for a 1 year rental. Spurs are the only title contenders on this list and could get Giannis but then again they gotta gut the foundation to get him.

  11. Thunder are one of the teams that make the most sense. They have the most ammunition to make a deal.

My idea was they should've made the deal early instead of paying Williams. Especially when I saw Edgecombe start balling at the beginning of the year. Move that pick. Even if you have to overpay a bit, Williams, Hartenstein, Caruso, the Sixers pick, and the Clippers pick. They couldn't say no to that. Ironically,

They probably still win it all this year. But the fear is Giannis going to either the Spurs or Rockets. He could turn either of those teams into a team that could ruin your potential dynasty.

  12. Spurs couldn't give their 26 and the ATL 27 in a Giannis trade because they sent out their own 27 in the Fox trade, so it would violate the Stepien Rule. They do have a 2028 swap with Boston top 1 protected, a 2030 unprotected swap with Dallas and a top 1 protected swap with Minnesota, and a 2031 unprotected swap with Sacramento. Ultimately I don't think they'd have any interest in trading for Giannis since that means they'd have to lose one of Castle or Harper by 2029 as it's impossible to have four max players in the second apron era.
