People are viewing this wrong. The Warriors are coming off a dynasty, they were literally the most successful team overall the last ten years. It is very normal for the downfall to come, it’s not bad or sad it just represents time. How many fan bases wish they had 4 ring and 6 finals runs in ten years……
Lakers build around their wallet. LA has more national TV games then the rest of the NBA…. LeBron is a cash cow … $$$$$ … "Building around Luka" needs to include King James, Bronny, & draft Bryce in 2027.

Luka Doncic is an asshole. I wouldn't build shit around him. Dallas did the right thing by getting rid of him. Cooper Flagg is a stand-up kid and when he hits his peak in 10 years the Mavericks are going to be champions more than once. Doncic will never will a championship because he's a quitter and he's got no heart. He showed it against Boston in the finals and he showed it again this year by choosing not to play against Houston or OKC. He's fine, by the way. He's not injured. He's just a coward.

If Lebron James wants to stay in California. Going to Golden State to team up with Steph Curry would be his only option. 2024 Team USA Captains reunite on the Warriors for next season , Steph Curry , Lebron James , Kevin Durant. Warriors trade Jimmy Butler to Houston to bring KD back to the Bay. Warriors go into next season with Steph , Bron , KD , who ever they draft at 11 next month (or if they trade the pick for veteran player) and the rest of Golden State's roster. Lebron can go back home to Los Angeles on the weekends when he's not playing games. Wouldn't have to move his family to a new city.
Lakers will at least have $50 million freed up if LBJ leaves (or he resigns at only $20MM or something), but Luka just can't stay healthy. AR should be traded, he turns the ball over under pressure way to much. Can he score? Yes. But he's a weak defender and isn't running an offense. He's a scorer, which Luka already does.
The Lakers either don't understand how to put together a championship team or are more interested in making money. After their last championship, they gutted the team except for LeBron and AD. They replaced all those players with guys who were less effective and cost more money. The team roster is still flawed from a pure basketball standpoint and JJ's rotations don't make a lot of sense to maximize the team's talent.
At this point, GSW is slightly better, but they need a major reboot to be a serious competitor.
lakers… they actually have a young star with more years ahead. they also dont have other guys who are dealing with career ending injuries while also demanding a huge amount of money. sure once lebron leaves.. who else os demanding a lot of money? they can get rid of ayton. they can get rid of anyone other than luka…but with the warriors your getting 2 more years of kerr. which means more fat draymond at the 5. u got his secret love child podz getting all the minutes. u got a former playoff jimmy after a Achilles. u got a sometimes shows up moody back from a horrible knee injury. KP is always fucking injured. GP2 and seth curry is always injured. curry got his runners knee. the best fucking playing on the court outside of steph is freaking old ass Al horford. the fuck u mean? whose stupid enough to pick the warriors? last i checked the lakers made it to the playoffs. the warriors couldnt even get out of the play in.
