Louisville guard Mikel Brown Jr.
“Dallas is a great place to play. I feel like I’ll fit right beside Coop really well, just to ease the pressure off of him. And then you have people I can learn from Kyrie, Jason Kidd, who’s an all-time great. Just having those people around me. It’s definitely a great organization as well. Definitely would be a great opportunity there.”

    Majority Owner: Patrick Dumont
    Minority Owner: Mark Cuban
President of Basketball Operations: Masai Ujiri
    General Manager: Mike Schmitz

  2. Rank the top guard prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft! Kingston Flemings, Darius Acuff, Mikel Brown, Keaton Wagler & Brayden Burries

  3. Based on the latest 2026 NBA Draft Combine measurements, Brayden Burries is the tallest and heaviest of the three, combining guard skills with forward-level strength. Anthony Edwards is slightly shorter than Burries but has the best wingspan and explosive power of the group — his athletic profile is historically elite. VJ Edgecombe shows excellent burst and agility, fitting the mold of a well-rounded, modern scoring guard.

Here is the detailed data comparison:

    Brayden Burries

    · Height (without shoes): approx. 192.4 cm (6'3.75")
    · Weight: approx. 97.7 kg (215.4 lbs)
    · Wingspan: approx. 198.1 cm (6'6")
    · Standing Reach: approx. 251.5 cm (8'2.5")
    · Max Vertical (running) : 38.5 inches (approx. 97.8 cm)
    · Standing Vertical: 35.0 inches (approx. 88.9 cm)

Anthony Edwards (2020 NBA Draft, for reference)

    · Height (without shoes): approx. 193 cm (6'4")
    · Weight: approx. 102 kg (225 lbs)
    · Wingspan: approx. 206 cm (6'9")
    · Standing Reach: approx. 254 cm (8'4")
    · Max Vertical (running) : approx. 107 cm (42 inches)
    · Standing Vertical: approx. 92 cm (36.2 inches)

    VJ Edgecombe

    · Height (without shoes): approx. 193 cm (6'4")
    · Weight: approx. 87.6 kg or 85 kg (approx. 193 lbs)
    · Wingspan: approx. 202 cm (6'7.5")
    · Standing Reach: approx. 258 cm (8'5.5")
    · Max Vertical (running) : 38.5 inches (approx. 97.8 cm)
    · Standing Vertical: 30.0 inches (approx. 76.2 cm)

    Brief Analysis:

    · Brayden Burries: Has a clear advantage in height and weight for a physical guard, but his wingspan and standing reach are relatively less impressive. His vertical jump numbers are excellent, suggesting his explosive ability is underrated.
    · Anthony Edwards: Possesses the best wingspan and elite weight/strength among the three for a guard. His athleticism is on a historic level, with the highest max vertical and in-game explosiveness.
    · VJ Edgecombe: Shows solid, well-proportioned measurements, though he is lighter and has room to add strength. His vertical is impressive, and his agility (lane agility, sprint) is also top-notch.

Please note that Edwards' data is from the 2020 draft and is used as a benchmark. Are you more focused on their physical profiles, or would you like to know who might fit your favorite team's system better?

  4. The fact that u didn't even list Mara as a possibility as a draft pick, kind of exposes u as more of a casual. I've seen all the tape on all the players u mentioned. None of them are all stars in the NBA. Granted Mara might not be either, but when Dallas is going to have to go through San Antonio to reach the finals for the next decade, u don't draft guard role players when there is a 7'3 big who can be a Wemby stopper, or at least slow him down. U can't teach size. If Dallas wants to compete, we have to get bigger, not smaller.

  5. 1) Acuff
    2) Flemmings
    3) Mikel
    4) Burries
    5) Wagler

Many people have said it was too early for Wagler to enter the draft and tbh they are right in terms that yes his potential is high its also high risk as he has trouble with speed beating others to the spot and the question about him creating for himself in ISO is also concerning. Doesn't look to have the frame that will outmuscle someone.
