   It doesn’t really matter what the wizards 🧙 do as jazz control their spot and have so many nice 😊 choices.
   The argument will always be should they trade down and accumulate more assets. Still get the guy and more for later 😅

8. So, I think we can say the same thing with the Washington Wizards and I am concerned that we over evaluate young talent. Wenbenyana is almost the exception to the rule. Do we think AJ is LeBron? No, maybe Tracy Mac, but only if everything hits. I keep hearing DP is SGA or Kobe? He isn’t as tall, doesn’t have the 7 foot wingspan of SGA and he has question marks.

9. I feel like Dybansta is the best prospect. His combination of size for a wing, high level athleticism and on ball scoring ability is rare. With his athletic and physical tools I'm not much worried about him defensively. Even if he's league average it's kind of whatever with all of the other abilities he brings. I don't think he'll be terrible on that end. Biggest concern with him imo is the three point shot. But I don't see a reason why he can't be at least average there too.

   Peterson and Boozer are both fantastic prospects as well. The Jazz can't go wrong taking any of the three at #2. The possibility always exists that maybe you take someone and it doesn't pan out. That's the nature of the draft. But the PROCESS behind the selection is what matters. Taking any of these guys is good process.

   My Jazz specific big board is…

   1) Dybansta
   2) Peterson
   3) Boozer

   I wouldn't trade up. Or down. Or out. I'd just take the best player available at 2. If Dybansta is there I'd take him. If not, I'd take Darryn Peterson and we move forward happily.

   I actually have Cam Boozer at 2 on my overall big board ahead of Peterson (it's very close). But I'd take Peterson if I was the Jazz because they've already invested so much money and so many assets into Lauri/JJJ/Kessler/Ace

11. I’m a long time Bullets/Wizards fan who has been listening to the Utah media for the past few days and I’m blown away how deep the basketball knowledge is in Utah. Everyone knows balls very very well.

12. DP is already better than Keyonte. We need a guard and unless the Wizards take DP we’re set with the best player in the draft plus we didn’t give up anything. Do not trade the 2nd pick plus Ace Bailey and a pick or two. We don’t need AJ nearly as bad as DP.

15. Welcome aboard the "just how good this team might be next year" train! It feels like you finally had the epiphany that most of us have already had regarding this team as currently constructed, and what that means for next year (barring any serious injuries).

    On a separate note, it's not that I don't appreciate that your personality craves and leads you to "analysis", but generally analysis is used to come to conclusions. With you, it's the feeling that the analysis frequently leads to talking in circles with no meaningful determination of what that should ultimately lead the team to do.

16. I agree AJ is iso heavy bc he can't hit the three. We will ball hog and be unplayable in a team setting. Byu basketball was misery watching his teammates stand around doing nothing while he played in iso.

I've never been on the whole "Ace doesn't want to be in Utah" train, but I am a little concerned he's not going to be wanting to come off the bench, especially for the whole duration of Lauri's contract. I think he would be fine coming off the bench and getting 30+ minutes this year, but I don't think that's going to work for three more years. I'm curious to see how that all works out

18. AJ seems like the best combo of ceiling and safe. High end is Jaylen Brown or Tatum. But his “bust” scenario seems to be current Andrew Wiggins. It would be super disappointing but still a starter.

    DP seems like the highest ceiling (SGA/Ant), but his bust scenario is Markelle Fultz or Ben Simmons in his final years. Unplayable due to a combination of injuries and/or attitude.

    Cam Boozer seems to be almost bust-proof. He has the highest floor, (Kevin Love), but he doesn’t have the razzle-dazzle like the others, but I don’t know how much that matters. Figuring out how to fit him would just take a while to finesse out since he would push one of Lauri, JJJ, or Kessler to the bench.

19. Jazz need to trade Lauri for himself and for Ace to thrive. Lauri should get traded to an east coast contender.

24. While attending a UofA/BYU in Tucson I was sitting in the middle of WildCat fans who were just astonished by AJ. The word “ridiculous’ was used frequently.
    Yet, I could see holes in his game. AJ has the attitude, the want too, and the athletic profile to be great. He deserves to be a top 2 pick in THIS deep draft. He is special. But he is not a top 10 player yet. We will see.

25. Hey Jazz fans, here’s a question from a guy in DC: Would you trade Ace and #2 pick for first pick (AJ)? Or are you okay with Peterson or Boozer? I ask because it seems like such a unique opportunity for the Jazz.

    No reason to comp a 6’6 Peterson to 6’8 Dybantsa.

    Some of these athletic wings have never needed the three before. Both Wilson and Dybantsa have smooth mechanics and I expect both to be average to above average three point shooters.

    AJs playmaking is way ahead of Petersons, he played point guard for BYU, brought the ball up the court, broke down presses, initiated the offense against big 13 defenses. Leif did a nice piece on it.

27. Wow AJ much better than DP from center 3 on those charts. Don’t be so dismissive of the center mid, oh yeah it’s a late game shot… ah that is when it matters most. High stress playoff games, for most players, their 3s don’t fall anything like regular season. That is why having that shot is key. Go check Jokic from those same center mid shots.

29. I think the pairing has to be Key, JJJ, and Kessler because key isn't a great defender. Lauri, Ace, and DP/AJ.

    And i love the idea of a 5 out lineup. Key, Peterson, Ace, Lauri, JJJ with 5 shooter where a center has to guard J3. Talk about cool lineup options.

31. AJ doesn't do pick rolls either side of the court. He defends them worse than he plays then on offense. He can't navigate a screen. And when he gets behind, he kind of gives up on defense.

32. Wizards do have a problem. Tre Johnson, Trae Young, and AD all need the ball in hand to do something on offense. Add in AJ as a fourth. And that roster will be broken. Completely. It's going to take them 2-3 years to fix that and that happens when Trae Young's and AD are gone.

33. I don't think Justin Zanik gets enough credit for his role in the process… He is great with the players and I think he does get them to fall in love with Utah and the vision here, too. He also probably does a lot of the analysis of player projections
