  1. I've got 2 names that I don't understand why they didn't get consideration! First, Tom Thibodeaux! He has coached for numerous teams including the Bulls, the Timberwolves and the Knicks! He has taken both the Bulls & Knicks to the Eastern Conference Finals. Also you can make an argument that he was unjustly fired by the Knicks! Second, Sam Cassell! He's a 3X NBA Champion as a player! This man has been an Assistant Coach for years under Flip Saunders, Doc Rivers and Tyron Lue! He's been to the playoffs numerous times under these coaches. Not to mention he's currently an assistant under Joe Mazzulla in Boston, where he won an NBA Title in 2024! He's definitely paid his dues and deserves an opportunity! I would like to know why New Orleans never considered either of them as viable candidates!
