However he does push young guys like VJ and Edwards to improve in the offseason. 20. I could have asked better questions, pinning them down.
    The key statement was that they agreed to spend over the luxury tax, but qualified by saying to be a contender.
    But what about the current case? If the Sixers don't re-sign both Oubre and Grimes, they lose them for nothing and they can only be replaced with a minimum player. And I see no case where trading PG makes the team better, unless add 1st round pics.
    And Embiid is not tradeable, but someone should have asked about the possibility of Embiid coming off the bench. I've discussed this before, but no one else has, likely because its assumed Joel would a firm NO. Nurse is too afraid to ask Joel to come off the bench. If he did, its likely Joel would complain about Nures.

    Josh Harris said that it would take a couple of years to know who won the trade and I agree.
    I consider McCain to be in the same category as a Landry Shamet, except 3 inches shorter.
    The difference between McCain and Shamet is that McCain has a large Fanboy following.

    Originally the McCain trade was supposed to be for Andrew Wiggins, but he's making 9.22 M vs 4.22 M for McCain.
    So it would have been complicated to make such a trade, so they moved to draft capital.
    I wouldn't read past that, as a follow up trade would have been difficult, and Meyers would have known that.

    Need to give the keys to Maxey he's a better leader then Embiid and we don't need Edgecome growth being slowed down because of the big fella being in the way
