ET must've missed the Celtics in the playoffs…!!! 🤦♂️🤷🏻💯🤣
All the haters looks at that prodcast, and find every negative thing they find, totally ignore all the right things,Flopping Ref Agenda been thing in the Nba forever, see Iverson 30 for 30. Pushoff 80% of league using that move, hell other pep on Celtics use it just much or more(PP). Karma Friday the Laker cry about Flopping it blows up to a point where pep is thinking Rigging. What the problem is the league just put in a rule for Flopping the ref never call. Why it's not on the ref given Agenda to call it. Jb said Flopping will ruin our league, nobody heard that. Smh!!!
Trade JB and Hauser for Sabonis and Malik Monk.. then DWhite into John Collins and Kris Dunn.. ☘️Tatum MVP 2027☘️
JB is one those special guys, and a select group people hate him for him, he not that typically shut up and play ball Dude.
This is easy, trade Tatum.
People making something outta nothing 😅
Haven't watched the video yet, but so far there is one thing that I haven't seen anyone mention. Tatum was injured at the end of 3 of the last 4 post-season runs. Against Miami, on the verge of coming back from 3 – 0, he badly sprained his ankle and it was up to JB. Last year, even if you have accept that they would have been down 3 – 1, I like their chances of coming back with Tatum. And this year, Tatum comes back, gets overused, and misses game 7. Again, it falls on JB. When he is the 'man,' he doesn't get it done. He is a great second banana, but he's not leading you to paradise.
Hope the Celtics keep them together and give them a few more cracks at it… Both still in their prime and get along well.. Build around them and ride it out. Both guys have 3 yrs. left on their deals.
Too much drama over the statement about his favorite year blah blah. The team overcame abysmal expectations, and led a team of overachievers who performed at a championship level rather than a potential lottery team. He should be proud of his performance this year, and the team should be proud of their performance this year. This was a team of overachievers, led by an overachiever.
Lets trade JB for Wemby. Do you think that will work? Otherwise, let's just keep him.
Having a high usage guy like Brown who only pulls a .139 WS/48 in the regular season which was his career high and then pulls a .080 against the Sixers is a severe disadvantage when guys like SGA and Wemby are hovering around .300. Brown needs to go somewhere else. The Giannis upgrade is needed in order to legitimately compete. He won a championship with a crappier roster than what Brown had for most of this season. Giannis and Tatum can do some damage together. Tatum and Brown aren't winning anymore finals together unless Hugo turns into John Havlicek real quick and if he does that why do they need Brown anymore if Hugo can do it at a fraction of the cost? Brown is not close to Giannis on either side of the floor.
Why are all the talking heads trying to force this conversation?!? There's been no indication, other than Tracy McGrady's comments, that there's any long-term issues with Jaylen Brown and the Celtics. Just trying to force a conversation
Shout out Jimmy Jackson Ohio legend and Jason Kidd 😂
Jaylen Brown is a Top 5, Top 8 NBA player.. so if Jayson Tatum. You never EVER trade them. Sign them to 20-year, lifetime, retirement contracts. That's my honest feeling.
Greetings from Cabo Verde Islands 🏝 🤩 😀 ❤️
Why don’t the Celtics add evan turner to the coaching staff next year.
If there are rumors about you and Jimmy Butler, then A. Davis, then Kawhi, and then KD – these were all better player than JB in those years. And in neither cases did the Celtics pull the trigger. However, it doesn't look like JT and JB are complementary. They sort of coexist but I'm not sure the Celtics get the full benefit of these two wings. May I say "redundant" ? In 2024 they had a plethora of talent around the two Js.
Trade Tatum not Brown!
Evan speaking the real ish
Evan Turner spoke the facts, he avoid the rumors of the media
Only a handful of people in the league id let JB go for.. and one of them is the big rumor.. *Giannis*, Wemby, SGA, Jokic.. maybe Brunson.. The deal would need to be pretty lateral too.. not JB + multiple 1sts. Im thinking JB to Portland, Giannis to C's, and a bunch of crap from portland + single pick from boston to Bucks. Dont blow the whole team up..
The only thing going on with Brown is the Boston media and the organization seems to put Tatum well ahead of Brown, when both players needed each other to win like they do. Tatum is definitely a great player, but no matter what Brown does (ECF and Final MVP) he will always be the 2nd option in Boston. The Celtics brought Tatum back and made him the #1 option on a team that won 50 plus games without him. This is why the Celtics are not in the playoffs today. Watching the team play together for 50 plus games was way better than watching Tatum ball and getting knocked out of the playoffs.
I'm with Evan. The media wants to separate JB and JT so that other teams have an easier time with the Celtics. There is no New York Knicks situation waiting for JB like Brunson leaving Dallas. This team's best version has both of the Jays.
Trade tatum not brown. Tatum is damaged goods
HE GOT BIG MOUTH CRY BABY HATE THIS DUDE
I don’t blame brown u got a chip in bos as a man id like to lead a team!
Evan Turner needs to be a part of the C's inner Organization.
One can only wish the pistons would trade for Brown!
Man stop stirring shit up….. Man two many of these sports shows carping for attention and views….. But hey Jaylen get out…..
In case anyone is wondering, the reason content creators will not stop talking about this, is that it is the cheapest heat available, and it brings almost every commenting type to the table:
– Tatum fans go fully erect and cant shut up
– Brown fans are furious and exhausted by another cycle
– Celtics haters get to crow knowing how much it upsets the locals
– Reasonable national basketball watchers get to discuss a hypothetical
– Reasonable basketball heads who hate manufactured drama get to complain about content creators making something out of nothing
It's just easier to do this than having a real job.
All this talk about what Jaylen’s trade value is when the solution is replacing that fraud of a head coach. Why are we not talking about the lack of evolution with how the team plays under Joe Mazzulla? You don’t think that the fact that the Celtics were the 2nd rated offense and dead last in pace was a glaring flaw that Joe never addressed? Not just this year last year too and 2023. It’s such a gamble when you can just improve the team with a needed coaching change. I can tell my players to take the three if it’s there and switch on defense too it’s not very hard.
Celtics do NOT need JBrown.
Don't know who Mannix is but holy shit Evan Turner voice mogs him to death. Sounds like a child talking lol
Evan Turner and Paul Pierce are the only Celtics who are always there, somehow, supporting from behind the scenes. Turner was essential in the Isaiah Thomas era, was an assistant coach under Brad Stevens, and continues to give good advice to Tatum and Pritchard.
