Caleb Wilson vs. Cam Boozer; Who is the Better for the Bulls’ Future?

1. Something that has not been mentioned about Boozer is his leadership. A good team needs great leadership which the Bulls are still searching for. I see Boozer as a tall Jalen Brunson.

2. Caleb Wilson will be a backup combo-forward his rookie year. He's a tweener who is undersized to play center, and doesn't have the handles or shooting range to play the SF positions. His role will be similar to Noa Essengue, Matas Buzelis, Leonard Miller, and Patrick Williams. Cam Boozer might be a better fit due to his bulky frame. He's what Bulls Nation expected from Patrick Williams.
   Only time will tell who has the heart, and brains for the NBA. Maybe Caleb Wilson will dominate from day 1. Maybe Boozer will strugle against length like P. Will does. #staytuned

3. Caleb has a higher ceiling than Boozer. Cam is more ready to play right now and his game will translate immediately into the NBA. Cam is Kevin Love. But Caleb could be Kevin Garnett and Tyrus Thomas put into one.

17. The answer is Caleb Wilson! To me, Boozer is a bit undersized for his position and play style for the NBA. Caleb is the ideal size and play style for this current NBA. The Bulls should be shooting for the stars and not for just a safe bet.

23. I hope every Bulls fan watches this video. You are spot on. And the reality is that we went from a 5-6 season rebuild to maybe a 2-3 season rebuild by jumping to 4. Cam Boozer is younger but he will make the rebuild quicker simply because he is nba ready. Caleb will take a little longer, but still awesome to have for the potential (perhaps Graham will invest in shooting coach’s and strength and conditioning staff?)

27. I think the bulls are finally going to break the curse of the 4th pick no matter who they choose. I’d be leaning towards Caleb Wilson however as having the physical tools and motor to translate more directly to the NBA game, especially on the defensive end where the Bulls desperately need an identity.

    Bulls need… Boozer. His game transitions better and should be productive in his rookie year but that also means Buz will be moved to SF. It’s tough because Boozer will be in the paint which limits floor spacing and pace. He’s going to have to get up and down the floor with Giddey. These issues shouldn’t be a problem with Wilson.

30. I agree Boozer is going to be a 20/10 guy in the NBA. Wilson has more to work on, I’m hoping the bulls get lucky and we get Boozer but I doubt it.

33. Boozer IMO. The IQ is a real luxury IMO. AKs Bulls initially worked fairly well and the real killer was Lonzo and his injuries. But it worked because you had the high IQ floor general. Boozer has the IQ, so far safer health and physical frame to support that, and he's better offensively than lonzo. Need someone to try and unlock Matas full potential.

34. The issue the Bulls always have is player development. Unless we get a good shooting coach and athletic trainers, we will not have great success in developing All-NBA talent. I'm not saying it's impossible, but some people just don't have the mental to make it to All-NBA without good supporting staff. I think Boozer has the highest floor and highest ceiling in terms of developing his skills to elite level without top tier coaching and training staff.

41. Great take i have this same dilema in my dynasty draft.. brain says boozer heart says caleb is a NBA star.. Wilson out played him when their teams went at it i still dont know who to choose. Boozers IQ and age are appealing

42. Wilson has star power and i believe it'll be boozer because of that; the bulls will still get a solid all star level player
