What would YOU do this offseason if you were running the Orlando Magic? Keep the core together and trust internal development, or make a major trade? ๐
Also, let me know which trade scenario you want me to deep dive into next: Kyrie, Ja, Jamal Murray, Claxton, or someone else entirely.
But what about a point guard? The one position P5 requested last year and we are just going to ignore it? Need to pick up Coby or Sexton at least.
center is undersized, to win you need 4 exceptional shooters, like Warriors did. There are not . Fire Weltman
We dont need major trades, we just need to make smarter decisions. Boston and Oklahoma made small trades and key signings that push them towards being contenders.
Suggs is a perfect 6th man. Problem is.. he makes starter money. I still would not make wholesale changes until we got a chance to see what a new coach can do with our core roster. Yes, make some smaller moves to deepen the bench but, besides that, maybe moving Wendell is the biggest move but I wouldn't do anything further.
The Magic need an experienced guard who can showcase the strengths of Paolo, Franz, Desmond, and Wendell. With Schrรถder, they would have someone who knows Franz, Mo, and Tristan inside out. Paolo is my biggest question mark on the defensive end, though he is one of the best scorers. Iโm curious to see who becomes the head coach; a great deal will depend on that.
thoughts on Carter being the backup power forward?
