I was also wondering why more players dont move around like steph, obviously you have to have a high enough 3pt percentage to have enough gravity, but there are plenty of players who can shoot like that. Honestly if the Nuggets can get an amazing shooter (like mpj) and just train him to run around like Steph it would propel their offense even more

One is the conditioning as you said; we know a lot of NBA players lack the work ethic of the top superstar tier guys, so being in good shape by NBA players' standards is not something we can take for granted. And shooting becomes harder when you're tired. The bounce/lift goes away after spending 20 minutes running around and now your natural shooting motion has to take a hit to account for the extra power needed. So unless you're already extremely confident in those shots, you kind of take yourself out of the end of games by wearing yourself out early. AND you probably have to take a step down on defense to save energy for all the exertion on offense. Which might be okay for a star like Ant, but can you imagine a role player like Luke Kennard asking JJ Redick to hide him on defense because he's tired? Guy would probably roast him in the post-game presser.
The other thing is that for whatever reason, the NBA and the referees have set a precedent for allowing far more contact on off ball movement lately than was normal 10-20 years ago. If your star is temperamental, not hearing a whistle after getting grabbed constantly on a possession might make them lose their head completely. This also feeds the conditioning aspect; if you're constantly getting held and are wrestling through contact, that saps more energy than just jogging around the court.
There was a 5-8 year span when the league was experiencing Moreyball when star players chose to shoot threes like Harden rather than Steph because it's easier, but at this point the incentive to play like Steph is probably decreasing.

I think you were correct when you said that his best window has passed. The best time to get a good trade is NOT after the draft. Right now any team should be waiting to see what talent they can get from the draft and then hit the calculator and see what they can do. By the way, all those names you mentioned are all DIVAS. After leaving Golden State what has KD really done? After leaving Houston, what has Harden done? Jimmy Butler? Klay Thompson? The Spurs and most of this year's rookies have shown us, without a doubt, that the young players are coming into the league so fierce, so well prepared, that the old famous players…should just sit tight and enjoy the money they're getting while they can. I would love to be proven wrong. This is happening in ALL sports, look at tennis for example, Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner…they're destroying records in lightning fast speed. Look at soccer teams like Barcelona or Paris, most of the players are young.
Meaningless to buy Giannis for 2 good players, no matter how Julius underperforms in the playoffs: Giannis is not the players of a couple of years ago and tends to be injured too often..

Let ant be the man but Gianni’s can take over scoring when he needs a break. Plus Gianni’s game is perfect for playoffs. Get to the rim and get fouled.
