8. Nick might authentically believe that Lebron was better in '07, but he'd be flat out wrong. The conversation between the two didn't even start until '09, and Lebron didn't make the finals that year to decide it 1v1 so Kobe kept it through his back to back imo. I think Lebron was the best player even when he choked against Dallas, but that still puts him in 2011-2020 timeline, not '07-'20

    I have a question pertaining to the finals. Do we have evidence that Spurs can deal with a Team built like the Knicks?

    Multiple 2-way floor spacings wings, a skilled stretch 5, an MVP caliber prolific guard and a decent supporting cast.

    I can see a finals where the spurs lose to the knicks bc this western conference finals feels like the Finals and im concerned the spurs will burn out emotionally unaware of whats going to be required of them to run through the tape and close the deal.

43. The NBA just gave Los Spurs their 6th title when they gave SGA the MVP…IN FRONT OF WEMBY! Wemby deserved it more, but SGA breaking the record meant overall performance didn’t matter. No discredit to SGA, as he had a phenomenal season, but Wemby is THE reason the Spurs are as dominant as they are, as he is truly the greatest player currently in the game. SGA isn’t on Wemby’s level, and this season is absolute, undeniable proof of that fact, given OKC is 1-6 against San Antonio this year.

    My credible case that Wemby is MVP is that when SA dominates other teams, their sports radio broadcasters and hosts are in awe…IN AWE…of what they witness inWemby’s game. Not a single market had people showing that same respect to SGA
