They can’t. Suns window closed after the KD trade.
This will be seen as an historic period in basketball, but every one is putting too much stock in OKC and SA controlling the league for the next decade. The league is about variables. Injuries, bad runs, upsets. It will happen to OKC and SA too. OKC will be contending with resigning their core 5 soon. That in and of itself will cause them to have to adjust and rethink. SA and Wemby will fight injuries and then come against the wall of their own salary challenges.
Two years ago Minn made major moves to contend with Denver. 18 months later DEN wasn’t the factor they were projected to be.
This same kind of discussion happened with GSW during their run. It ends. Most times sooner than people expect.
