Cam Booz is only the answer if he yells “AND ONE!!!” At least twice a game,but I can’t find it on his tape. Not sure I’m seeing enough left hand slams either. But I could be talked into it.
Jokes aside, I don’t see any issue brining the number 2 off the bench. Playmaking is sorely needed and he could still play 25-30 minutes a night, plus he can go up against back ups and be brought along slowly. This also allows Ace to start and progress.
Low key would love to see collier to Booz pick and roll, collier has the bod to cosplay some dwill minutes.

You can’t build a team to beat a single player. Ask Minnesota, they smoke the nuggets but can’t do much else.
The job off the owner and front office is to build a conference finals level team.
The rest of it is up to the players, luck, coaching, timing and health.

I recall Daddy Boozer back in the day getting injured a lot and taking his time to recover to play again while with the Jazz. Also Not to mention that daddy Boozer couldn't beat the spurs back in 07'. No thanks.

I get the concerns, but- we shouldn’t fall into the Minnesota trap.
They built their entire roster to be a Denver/Jokic slayer/counter, because they were supposed to be the best team with the best player, and they only really had that one season where they won the title.
I get that Victor looks incredible, but he’s 7’5 and super thin. Injuries could be a real concern after years on the court.
It just seems short-sighted to construct the roster around beating one player- even if he looks like he might have the best player in the world potential.

I heard you say Cam Boozer is a better shooter of the basketball than Darryn Peterson and besides looking at 3pt% last season I'm really wondering where you're coming from on that. I would love to hear more because DNP’s shooting splits in his first 11 games were 50.6% from the field, 43.2% from 3, 21.3 ppg 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals, 1.2 blocks!! on literally 26.5 minutes per game. Then he went through the rest of his season with what I would attribute to mental/physical issues. If he can overcome the mental side, his shooting ceiling at his size and his defensive ability… He does more to push us past Wemby than Boozer does on an island guarding guards. Every team is going to bring Boozer's guy up to set a screen, and Boozer gets cooked from there. I'll be thrilled if we land AJ or DNP but I kinda think this DNP kid figures it out and becomes DP (DOES PLAY) for our Jazz like you said last episode we can ease him into the conditioning we don't need him to play even 30 minutes right away.

A. Don't match Kessler and get a stretch 5
B. Keep Kessler and sign a FA stretch 5

Cam Boozer must be our pick IMO. He is the most sure bet. He’s gonna Average 25 and 10 for 10+ years.
I don't think we can go wrong with DP,AJ or Boozer 2.O. I think the best fit for the Jazz is in that order.
I would love to have AJ. Hard to pass up a guy with the size and skills.
I'm just being realistic here but this is only going to be a real problem for the next 5 years at max. Kareem and Wilt are really the only tall lanky players that had substantially long careers with that build and Wemby is even taller. Plus the way he moves and plays is going to take a big toll on those leg joints. As soon as an ankle or knee starts to go on this big guys, it's game over. Not saying I'm wishing or hoping for this but it is the reality.
You can’t eliminate something like the pick and roll from your game plan. If you do, then they over commit to the other aspects of your game like the pick and pop. You have to keep them honest, but lean heavily into their weakness

George, Peterson, Bailey, Lauri, JJJ is the anti Wemby lineup.
I think they will take Boozer. DP never looked like the guy he was in high school. Even after they supposedly figured out the whole “creatine” thing he had pretty bad stats in tournament play. Just too many questions for a guy taken that high.
Please pick Boozer. He's as close to a guarantee you'll get. Aj and darryn are too risky. Aj's bad 3 shooting and darryn lack of team awareness. High bust rates despite higher ceilings. Pick the more modest yet more sure bet.
The GOAT? Let's see some longevity and some rings first. If/when he's got at least 4 rings we can then throw him into that conversation.

I have been thinking and playing around with the roster, the more I think abbout it, the more I do like Boozer to the jazz. this is specifically why.. his a step in now type of player. so I keep thinking that having key/ace/LM/JJJ/Kessler starting. the bench being Collier/svi/cody/boozer/nurkic Making assumptions that we resign Kessler and Nurkic that is a pretty damn good starting line up and 2nd unit. thenk you have konchard, brice, Kyle to round out the team. with a spot or two.. and the Mle .. which I think if we could get Keon Ellis and spencer jones (from denver) would be a very divery deep lineup, giving Hardy a divese set of players to match up with almost any style of play. the biggest reason I say this is the way you beat Wemby is having multiple bigs to challeng him and wear him down. but you also need the guards to stop the back cort of Spurs.
