Why am I clipps fan
I’d trade with the Hawks if I’m the Clippers. Kuminga, Kispert, 8, and 23 for Kawhi gets my attention. Daniels, NAW, Kawhi, Johnson, and Okongwu is a squad.
Detroit gets Kawhi, LA gets Giannis, Milwaukee gets Duren, Harris, and some other contract filler plus a haul of picks
If I’m the Clippers, I’d get the best player available: and that’s ACUFF
Trade Kawhi and try a season with DG and Acuff in the backcourt.
It could work just like Kyrie/Luka, Harden/Maxey, DG/Mitchell etc
Or it can’t work but build DG’s stock and trade him after another season. There’s no expectations for the Clippers to compete anymore so I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to draft a potential star in Acuff

Tbh i hope they trade Kawhi and reset themselves. Clippers aren’t winning with Kawhi we’ve seen this for how many years now. And he’s only getting older, best to get out now and build up the next core

Drafting for fit is the worst thing this team could do. When you luck out and get a top 5 pick while having the worst future in the league and no real franchise cornerstone to build around you don't think about fit. With all due respect i could care less about Garland and quite frankly i dont even think hes that good so if the best player left is an Acuff or Mikel Brown type then im all for it. Draft best available and best talent

1: Who would want Kawhi and his lack of ability on their team? 2: Who would want 1 and with a huge salary cap. 3: What sign is there Kawhi is ever going to be healthy? His career has been over for six years, people just haven't noticed it yet. He isn't a trade asset.
