What An Early Playoff Exit EXPOSED About The Minnesota Timberwolves Roster | Wolves’ “Moodiness”

1. Randle not showing up for exit interviews proved two things:

   1. his immaturity / inability to take responsibiity for his own.

   2. Randle himself knows he is gone this offseason. It was clear the team was done with him, he was unplayable in the playoffs, and that Naz had taken his time.

   The majore reason why Rudy might not join Randle in being gone is that he is consistent in what he is, raises the floor of the entire defense.. and mostly Beringer is NOT ready to take over for him, and Rudy being around Beringer will help his development. There is value to all of this.

   Randle has a immediate replacement in Naz, and is not needed for any other reason.

2. Randle is an embarrassing basketball player. His entire identity is “bully ball.” But when the bully fights people his own size in the playoffs, his play doesn’t just plummet, but it becomes historically bad.
   And to top it off:
   -He begged the GM not to trade him
   -Finch knew to NEVER publicly criticize him, as he knew Randle wasn’t tough enough to take it
   -Lastly, Randle didn’t show for exit interviews.

   Weak player

3. They don’t need a point guard I think they need ball handlers and good decision making

4. This is gonna sound insane but ill be honest. Okc and the Spurs are gonna dominate for the next 5 years plus. I say we pursue embiid, let him load manage as much as wants and pray hard af he's healthy enough for a playoff run. Him jokic are the only 2 centers that can get buckets on wemby 🤷🏿‍♂️

5. The wolves need a big man that can shoot, pass, switchable on defense and play with some zest. Only if there was such a player out there 😞

6. PG isn't the issue, this team is immature and too emotional. Remind me of a group of YN trying to act tough. There's also that 7'5" problem

7. We need a new coach and possibly training staff.

8. I think they should focus on player development especially with that Australian dude he’s about Wembys height I think his name is Rocco develop him and beringer trade gobert for picks or a shooter and also trade Randle for picks or shooter

9. Giannis is the only acquisition that could help Ant get past SA & OKC

   Now here’s the thing, Minnesota needs to trade for Giannis by June 23rd (NBA Draft night)

   And if Minnesota is unable to trade for Giannis on June 23rd, then they need to trade Anthony Edwards to the Wizards for their No. 1 pick and just start a NEW rebuild with AJ Dybansta (who could actually be better than Ant)

   Because with AJ Dybansta, Minnesota could stockpile lots of 1st rd draft picks the same way how SA & OKC did with Wemby & Shai

   This would allow for Minnesota to sit back and rebuild for the future while SA & OKC runs the league for the next 4-5 years…then by the time SA & OKC start to fizzle out, that’s when Minnesota’s new young core would be ready to take over

10. Some of you guys gotta stop with the whole getting this player or that player. That is a short term fix and will hurt us more in the cap and the long run. We need to trade Rudy and Randall for picks… we need to build for the long term like SA just did.

11. I'm sure there's many things we can thank Coach Finch for, but his time has passed. We need a new coach!

12. Wolves should sign Jrue Holiday.

    Giannis/Evan Turner/Ryan Rollins/26(2)

14. I am all about moving Randle, but something to remember is how would SAS or OkC do if their stud was playing on two bad knees and they lost their highest +/- starter? No champ for SAS and no Chet for OkC.

    I think we are glossing over that.

15. Look at the Naz numbers, he is only a positive defender when Gobert is on the floor to tell him rotations. Randle isn’t a positive defender unless he wants to go iso one on one, similar to Ant.

16. 13:16 No, no he can't. He can dribble the ball, not unlike most NBA players, but he cannot handle it. Any drive to the rim, attempt at self-creation or even just bringing the ball up the court tended to result in a turnover or horribly missed shot (especially layups 😮‍💨🤦‍♂️) more often than not.

    Geeze, Donte has some big hustle plays and a little bit of a positive shooting streak for 3 playoff games in a row and everyone forgets how bad he was during the regular season

18. Gobert is only good in the regular season he was getting cooked by everyone and to be honest nobody's scared to get to the paint when he is there

19. Why everyone keeps focusing on the Timberwolves backcourt when the front court is the main problem.

20. TWolves are a team of specialists in an era dominated by generalist teams. Too many defensive/offensive liabilities. Not enough good passers, good dribblers, not sophisticated enough offense in the half court.

21. Bad coaching. No offensive flow. Ant holds the ball too much.

22. have to disagree w/ you on TSJ, even in the later part of the series drawing a lot of charges. Def not a one extreme 1 dimensional player

24. Finch is not a bad coach… but he isn't great enough to make this roster work…
