The 2010 Orlando Magic Were DESTINED For Greatness…

NBA history has largely forgotten the 2010 Orlando Magic. And when you fizzle out in the conference finals, it’s understandable why. Still, it’s a shame this team was broken up so quickly afterward. Sometimes teams need to go through adversity to define roles and build real chemistry.

I put this compilation together to remind people just how good this squad was, focusing less on the disappointment of how it ended and more on what they brought at their best. This team was loaded: Dwight Howard, Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis, Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick, Mickaël Piétrus, Marcin Gortat, Jason Williams, Ryan Anderson, Brandon Bass, Anthony Johnson, and Matt Barnes. Shout out to the 2010 Orlando Magic, man.

  1. For a moment, I thought that the Magic were gonna complete the 3-0 comeback against the Celtics in the East Finals

But the Magic just had so many heartbreaking playoff moments in 2009 and 2010, despite being a great to elite team those two playoffs

  2. Mixed with Young Guns and Veterans ( Like VC and Matt Barnes , Even Jason Williams. )

This team was really ahead of their time but Doc Rivers doesn't like that shit. 😂

  3. Real reason this team didn’t win is due to the steroid scandal. Their role players were caught taking PEDs and were forced to give them up, so literally everyone on that team other than Dwight couldn’t replicate their previous years performance. Plus Vince Carter couldn’t perform like he used to and still was forced into that role. Plus the reason they went to finals in 09 was cuz Garnett was injured so in ‘10 it’s clear he was the heart of that Celtics squad
