If you look at all the Kyrie controversies, the only one that was detrimental to the team was his refusal to take the Covid vaccine which probably cost the Nets a championship because he couldn't play home games. Everything else was him just being a weirdo and conspiracy theorist. And the issues that came from that were more media related. He left the Cavs to have his own team and be a leader. he wasn't cut out for it and seems to know that now and he's played 2nd fiddle ever since. If they can get him cheap I think he's more than worth it.
