LeBron’s Next Move Is Becoming Obvious…

LeBron James faces a huge decision this offseason, marking his closest point to potentially leaving the Los Angeles Lakers. We dive into the ongoing rumors surrounding his future, including the possibility of LeBron retirement, trade, signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers in free agency and more, as the Lakers offseason begins to take shape.

  1. Why would the Lakers want to keep him when, like you said, they can use that money for a good free agent like Jalen Duren? They can still make top 5 in the West without Lebron (barring injury), They'd at least go younger and have a future.

  2. A Cinderella story is what I'm seeing when he does retire he's gonna go to the Cavs and if they somehow win a championship and retire after that which I don't think will happen for another 2 years.

  3. I’m sure it won’t happen bc of how money driven LeBron is, but there’s no doubt that LA is the best option for him basketball wise, especially if he takes a pay cut. No one knows where his head is at in terms of legacy but if they can make some improvements around him, Luka, and Reaves it’s his best chance of winning another title, even if it’s still not a huge chance

  4. Lowkey wizards he can end his career where Jordan did and arguably have greater impact than he did, he would be with AD who he obviously wanted to play with, maybe he can convince them to trade #1 pick to go out and get a Giannis or whoever else or worse case they keep #1 and it’s Trae young AJ LeBron sarr AD with some nice bench guys

  5. Take That Heat Emblem From Off The Board…Keep That Tras Azz Old Man In La Or Fkn Cleveland

He Can't Lead Anymore..The Lakers Made Him The Number 3 Choice On The Floor..😅😅 LET HIM STAY PLEASE!!

  6. Just because the Lakers had a good stretch of basketball, doesn't mean they aren't a deeply flawed team, which they are. If they bring back LeBron and Reaves, they have no avenue to fix those flaws

  7. 3 team jumps is the most prolific? Let's forget his longevity, which obviously gives him more opportunity. James Harden and Russell Westbrook both won mvps and have been on how many teams each? You eluded to KD but let's talk about the players who forced their way out multiple times. Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, and Paul George. If you are saying he's a top 10 player in history, he has one more team than Jordan and Kareem. The same as KG. And I don't remember how many teams Shaq has been on.

  8. were forgetting how many jerseys Lebron sells, thats, in my opinion, a big part of why hes still technically worth a lot, on the business side, hes bigger then anyone. Actual game, not much…

  9. Fortunately for the (F)Lakers that 27 of the 29 other teams won’t bother even pursuing LeBron in the offseason.

Teams that LeBron won’t even bother joining because of their location or lousy chances of winning a title:
    Brooklyn
    Charlotte
    Chicago
    Detroit
    LA Clippers
    Memphis
    Milwaukee
    New Orleans
    Portland
    Toronto

Teams that won’t pursue LeBron for their current roster or rebuilding purposes:
    OKC
    San Antonio
    New York
    Atlanta
    Dallas
    Utah
    Washington

Teams that simply can’t afford LeBron:
    Boston
    Denver
    Golden State
    Houston
    Indiana
    Minnesota
    Orlando
    Philadelphia
    Phoenix

*Sacramento checks out for all 3 of these reasons

The only teams that would be willing to make room for LeBron:
    Cleveland
    Miami

  10. I give maybe a five percent chance LeBron retires this offseason. More than anyone, he wants a retirement tour, which I think will happen next season. I can see him signing somewhere other than the Lakers though. Maybe he wants a homecoming retirement tour and plays in Cleveland next season.

  11. I don't get why people are saying he doesn't want to play second fiddle when for the past half decade he'd been begging AD to be better than him so he could rest a bit lol

  12. I think if the spurs lose this series LeBron should go to them. A PF they need and someone to pass the ball to wemby with a strong core around him would be nice and its like a passing of the torch of the goat to wemby

  13. Does is really matter, though? He isn’t going anywhere without guaranteeing that he’ll be the centerpiece. And, if he’s the franchise centerpiece, that means his team won’t be in contention for a title. No real point in caring where he goes because it will have ZERO effect on the competitive landscape of the league.

  14. The part he missed is does LA really want LeBron back? They need defense, they need a center, could use bench depth. They played great in the beginning without him. I think LA is probably better if they take the 35 million LeBron wants and fill out the roster in my opinion

  15. It's gonna be the Cavs. Especially given how the Cavs got bounced. He can get his farewell tour and be the hometown savior.
