Jeff Teague, DJ Wells, and B Hen react to the San Antonio Spurs dropping Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Wemby didn’t come out aggressive and failed to get into a rhythm offensively, and Jeff says that they take him out of the game at weird times. Jeff talks about how if the Spurs want to win these next two games, they CANNOT take Wemby out. The Spurs are a completely different team with Wemby than they are without him, and they need him on the court at all times.

  23. Wemby settle too much for 3 when Hart be bullying him down low. N that weak pump fake drive only works for KAT 😅 Wemby need to work on a quick change of direction when he does that instead of always trying to long gallop. Do that when you get a build like Giannis. Wemby gotta chill & talk to Tim Duncan get that mid range free throw line extended down pact. He would be absolutely unstoppable if he had a quick turn around / pull up middy. So for now he makes it easy on the defense. Bully him down low & make him shoot inconsistent 3s he’s out the game. Really hope Wemby figures that out. A great midrange opens up the game for any superstar player.
