The Mav’s can’t do the two time lines, they need to do a complete rebuild with younger players, smart trades and good draft picks
Schmitz said a whole lot of nothing. The DLLS Mavs site has the interview. Mavs are currently in year 1.5 of a 7-year rebuild. If they hire a college coach or Dawn Staley (insanity), then I will up it to a 10-year rebuild.
The reality is, they should have fired everyone after the Luka trade. Now, they are going to get a coach (maybe) two weeks before the draft. If you were a good coach, would you want to go to a team where you have no draft input? I doubt it. Think about it. The coach coming in may not get a good pick that they will have input on until 2031.
Twice today, I heard from Mavericks talk shows that they are looking at Dawn Staley as a coach. What the hell is this insanity? DEI nonsense?
"Sustainable"? I hate that Marxist word. Do people know that is where that concept originates from? It is from Agenda 2030. In fact, if you look at the original Agenda 21 document from Brazil, it is in the preamble.
