  1. This proposal is literally the dumbest proposal I've ever heard.
The whole point of a draft is to create more parity in the league so that bad teams can improve. With this proposal, they are ensuring bad teams stay bad, and the rich will only get richer. I know the Kings owner sucks and the Kings have a long history of mismanaging assets, but to fully punish a team for being bad and not helping them to succeed says everything that is wrong with the NBA imo.
Also, teams are still going to tank to be in the 4 to 8 slots, and the loser of the play-in game will tank to get a ball to be in the lottery (Why play the top-seeded team and lose to them if you can have the hope to get a high draft pick? How does that make sense?)….the exact thing you do NOT want!
Plus, the only hope of small market teams to improve was through the draft because top-tier free agents do not sign with them, and making trades when you have average assets is difficult.
    This proposal is beyond STUPID!!!

  2. Should have had equal odds between bottom 8 teams, all teams one way or the other are struggling and are fighting for top pick. And there should be a commute to investigate tanking if you get caught 1st offense lose 3 spots in the lottery, 2nd offense lose 10 spots!
