15 Points Away From the Finals… Then Everything Changed 😔🏀

The Portland Trail Blazers were loaded.

Rasheed Wallace, Scottie Pippen, Steve Smith, and a roster built to win a championship.

In Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals, Portland led by 15 points against Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Finals were within reach.

Then came one of the most painful collapses in NBA history. The lead disappeared. The dream disappeared. And the Lakers advanced.

For Rasheed Wallace, it became the loss that would haunt him… until 2004 gave him another chance. 🔥🏆
