I personally wouldn't touch the starters obi or McConnell. They do need a little firepower off the bench though and walker isn't gonna be the answer. They need a mathurin replacement
All we need is to sign a scoring punch off the bench, or just hope Walker continues to develop his offensive game to fill the void of Mathurin
It would be a better in season trade as everybody is looming for draft picks. Pacers cant really afford any. I would jump in the giannis trade tho and see if we can acquire any draft capital

Getting Murphy means getting rid of Ty, Pascal, or SERIOUS depth. And I think any one of those three options hurts more than it helps.
ZOOBAHTS plays Wemby tough. Nesmith could handle Castle and Nembhard could handle Fox. It's a good roster but a quick scorer off the bench would be nice.

I'd love to have Murphy on the team, but I think the cost would be too high. We need depth for the style the Pacers play. Trying to collect more stars to the big market teams that can afford pay luxury tax would be a losing strategy and not what got the Pacers to the ECF then Finals in back to back.
These kinda trade ideas need to be decided at the deadline. We need to see how all the pieces fit again with Haliburton first. We had a finals team when healthy and wouldn't take much to screw it all up. If you feel at the deadline there are a few players that are not leading to wins then that is the time to make that kinda deal.
